HR EXECUTIVE
Barcelona, Spain

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who has specialised in Employee Relations and Payroll to help us as we scale. This role will have a direct impact on the success of the organisation and requires a diligent and focused individual who is passionate about employee satisfaction. You will be responsible for all payroll functions on a monthly basis as well as legal and reporting functions within HR.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accurate and timely payroll management of 200+ employees in Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom, partnering with multiple payroll vendors and ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Ensure all requirements are met for all government reporting, regulation and compliance in relation to payroll, taxation, withholding and employer contributions
• Manage the relationship with public and private local and international authorities; deal with social security/social insurance and financial authorities
• Prepare information relating to Payroll for cash flow forecasting of payments in line with financial planning
• Generate monthly management reports and analysis as required
• Prepare contracts, renewals and terminations of contracts
• Manage and deal with Visa and work permit applications and renewals
• Educate and support users on the use of payroll systems and HR Tools; be responsible for the accuracy and constant update of information uploaded in the HRIS
• Ensure compliance and adherence to the policies set down by management team
• Assist employees with payroll & labour inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Deliver training to managers and employees and induction in relevant areas such as time report and salary calculation
• Update and create content for the internal intranet HR pages including templates, how-to’s and guidelines
• Ensure Time & Attendance records are regularly updated
• Responsible for Benefit Administration (Health, Dental, Pension, tax saver etc...)
• Coordinate Environmental, Health and Safety (PRL) activities and requirements, proposing sound and timely updates and upgrades

Requirements:
• 3+ years International payroll experience
• Strong knowledge of Spanish Labour Laws
• International Labour laws - an advantage
• Regulatory payroll knowledge
• Detail oriented with strong analytical, written and oral communication skills
• Good payroll auditing techniques via reports and experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills
• Proven ability to listen attentively, adhere to tight-deadlines, multi-task, maintain confidentiality and adhere to company standard of ethics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to interface with all levels of the organisation
